Announcing the May Release of CompeteIQ

It continues to be an exciting time at CompeteIQ.  After participating in SCIP earlier this year, and then attending the Forrester event in Austin Texas we have met more people and the message is clear:  The world is not getting …less… competitive.  CompeteIQ is here to help!  With that said, the May release of CompeteIQ is out!

In May, CompeteIQ is pleased to announce the platform’s latest updates and enhancements to improve user experience, performance, and functionality. A few of the major updates in this release are:

  • Introducing New Criteria Type – Stars
We are excited to introduce a new Criteria type in our Differentiation Analyzer tool – Stars. With this update, we provide enhanced analysis of your products or services’ distinctiveness in the market. The Stars criteria rate your offerings on a scale from Empty to 100%, indicating the level of differentiation and competitive advantage they possess. An Empty rating implies low differentiation, while 100% signifies exceptional distinctiveness. This new addition empowers you to make informed decisions, refine strategies, and improve competitiveness.
  • Improved User Experience for Intel Submission
CompeteIQ has also updated the intel submission process to improve user experience. The latest update introduces two new columns: CC and a Comment box. The CC feature enables users to include specific individuals who will be notified about the intel submission. To simplify the recipient selection, we have implemented a convenient auto-complete functionality. This streamlines the selection of recipients, allowing for effective communication and information sharing.
  • Enhanced Efficiency in Geographical Classification
Another major update in this release is introducing a notable enhancement to our Events Classifier feature to optimize user efficiency within our platform. This latest update enables users to select relevant Geographies directly from the Classifier Pop-Up while classifying news articles as Events. This improvement streamlines the process by eliminating the need for additional clicks and reducing the time required for accurate classification, empowering users to work more efficiently.

Finally, we also continue to have high-velocity in bug fixes, and minor improvements.
